Hello everyone!As some of you may know, the Miss America Organization has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network to raise funds and awareness for children’s hospitals throughout the United States. All proceeds that are raised are donated to the Children's Miracle Network and help children who are sick or injured. I am expected to raise a minimum donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Miss America Scholarship Fund. It’s not an entrance fee, but it is a service requirement that I must attain. Last night, I had a fundraiser at Salvatore's Restaurant to raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network. 10% of all proceeds that were raised will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network Hospital's. When I arrived at the fundraiser, I couldn't believe what I saw.. every table in the restaurant was full! I was extremely thrilled to have so many people attend and support such an amazing cause. The time flew by as I stayed busy socializing with all of my supporters! One thing I learned is, that waiting tables is not an easy job! I am so truly blessed to have such amazing people in my life who allow me to make miracles happen. Thank you to all who attended, words can't express how much it means to me!
